WORKING TOGETHER FOR BETTER WATER SERVICES: MAYOR MQADI MEETS WITH WARD 35 COMMUNITY

In an effort to promote public participation, transparency, and accountability, Ugu District Municipality Mayor, Cllr Sikhumbuzo Mqadi, today led a delegation officials during a community feedback meeting held at the AB Gigaba Hall in Izingolweni ward 35. 

The engagement formed part of the Municipality’s ongoing commitment to keeping communities informed on matters affecting service delivery, particularly water services. Residents were provided with feedback on current water-related matters, ongoing interventions, and future plans aimed at improving the reliability and sustainability of water supply within the area.

Through open and constructive dialogue, the Municipality continues to strengthen relationships with residents while ensuring that community voices remain at the centre of decision making.

Mayor Mqadi reaffirmed the Municipality’s commitment to improving water service delivery and maintaining regular engagement with communities as part of its broader mission to build a responsive, accountable, and people-centred local government.
