The Ugu District Municipality’s Economic Development and Environmental Services (EDES) Unit, together with its agency, South Coast Tourism and Investment Enterprise (SCTIE), recently held a strategic working session at the Ugu Sports & Leisure Centre.

The workshop formed part of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration, improve organisational alignment, and foster greater integration between EDES, Environmental Services and SCTIE. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation, streamlining programmes, improving internal processes, and ensuring that all entities work collectively towards the Municipality’s developmental objectives.

By bringing teams together to share ideas, align priorities and develop practical strategies, Ugu District Municipality continues to build a cohesive and results-driven approach to economic development, environmental sustainability, tourism promotion and investment attraction.

The session reaffirmed the Municipality’s commitment to innovation, teamwork and excellence in service delivery as it works towards creating a more prosperous and sustainable future for the people of Ugu.
