Councillor Nomfundo Dlamini and Councillor Anelisa Gege were sworn in at a full council meeting held at Ray Nkonyeni Municipality Council Chambers.

Councillor Dlamini took office as Proportional Representative Councillor, while Councillor Gege took office as a municipal representative, representing Ray Nkonyeni at the Ugu Council.

During the ceremony, the councillors took an oath of office, committing to serve their communities, uphold the law, and perform their duties with integrity.

Speaker, Cllr Sizwe Ngcobo, welcomed the councillors on behalf of Ugu Council.
