​The municipality has during the course of last week concluded a pending internal disciplinary hearing of a staff member who served as SAMWU shop steward and was charged with counts of misconduct together with the recently dismissed employees.The internal disciplinary hearing in this matter imposed a sanction of Final Written warning to the affected employee who also serves as SAMWU Secretary in the municipality.
