The Ugu District Municipality today convened a sitting of the Sound Governance and Human Resources Portfolio Committee bringing together political leadership, traditional leadership, senior management, and oversight structures to deliberate on matters critical to governance, institutional performance, and service delivery within the district.

The Sound Governance Portfolio Committee, chaired by Executive Council Member, Cllr Mthokozisi Ngwane, plays a vital role in ensuring accountability, transparency, ethical governance, and effective oversight within the municipality. Through these engagements, the committee monitors institutional performance, governance compliance, human resource matters, and strategic interventions aimed at improving service delivery to communities across the district.
